Collection: Reclaimed Fabrics

Everything in this collection is made from reclaimed fabrics. Conventional manufactures abandon millions of pounds of textile remnants every year. These leftover pieces would go to landfill if not resold in local markets. This fabric is also known as remnant fabric, deadstock fabric, and reclaimed fabric. Our artisan partners purchase remnant fabrics from local markets to make these clothes. We love this because good fabric is saved from the landfill, our partners are supporting the local economy, and oftentimes our partners can save money on the reclaimed fabric and pass these savings onto you. 

What fiber is reclaimed fabric? Good question! The reselling of the remnants isn't very structured. The material content information is either never passed on with the remnants or gets lost in the shuffle. Our partners do their best to pick high quality fabrics. The only catch is that we can't guarantee the material content.
