Right now we’re wrapping up Fashion Revolution week, the week of the year where we acknowledge and honor the 1,138 lives lost and the additional 2,500 injured on April 24th, 2013. These workers were sewing and making our clothes when the building of the Rana Plaza of Bangladesh collapsed. It was the fourth largest industrial disaster in history. And where were you? This is why there’s a call for a Fashion Revolution. For too long, our clothes have been made by people so far removed from our minds and in conditions that you or I wouldn’t step foot in.
